Vandal-resistant recessed circular baffle for 8" speakers and select horn speakers

Model VP60R. The reinforced protective baffle assembly provides tamper-resistant, flush-mount installation of a standard 8" cone speaker or APF series re-entrant horn. Horn installation requires a model FAMT-6 adapter plate.

Trim ring is made of aluminum alloy with a tensile strength of 44,000 PSI and features a 3/4" protective collar to protect the speaker from impacts.

The speaker is securely mounted to welded studs behind a 22-gauge perforated CRS plate, which is then protected by a stainless steel woven wire mesh screen positioned 3/8" in front of the plate for protection against direct impact. The mesh screen is reinforced with a thick layer of sealant on the inside to protect it from tearing or bending. The rugged unit installs using tamper-resistant, heat-treated alloy screws (a special wrench is included) into specific enclosures. Mounting holes are countersunk for added security.

The finish is satin aluminum with acrylic coating.
