TWO-WAY PASSIVE STAGE MONITOR
The VFM109i two-way stage monitor speaker system features a 10-inch, vented, direct-radiating low-frequency cone transducer and a 1.75-inch voice-coil, 1-inch exit high-frequency compression driver, loaded with a large, 90-degree rotatable square panel horn with a 60° coverage pattern.
Because the VF Series full-range (VFR/VFM) systems use HF sections similar to those developed for the MK Series, EAW engineers could employ the same revolutionary internal “beamwidth-matching” passive crossover/filter networks that distinguish the MK Series from all other two-way systems. When powered by an EAW-specified amplifier or UX Series digital signal processor, the VFM109i can benefit from EAW Focusing, a technology that eliminates the inherent time-domain anomalies of any loudspeaker.
The VFM109i features a classic stage monitor design with NL4 connectors located on both sides for easy loop-through connections. They also include a pole mount cup in case they need to be used as small PA networks. Engineers integrated the handles into the cabinet design, giving the low-profile cabinet a sleek, clean appearance.
