New to our high-definition resistance-based volume control family, the SKR120 sliding volume controls are often used with multi-channel amplifiers and impedance-matching speaker selectors. This is not an impedance-matching volume control and features optimized sound quality with minimal bass roll-off due to the use of high-permeability steel. The SKR Series of transformerless volume controls offers the widest frequency response of any volume control on the market today, with virtually no loss of high or low frequencies, resulting in audiophile sound quality. Other features include a two-ounce, double-sided G10 glass-epoxy PCB, a non-shorting design utilizing a "make-before-break" switch that prevents the amplifier from seeing 12-14 gauge solderless speaker terminals, and easy top-termination solderless speaker terminals.
