The Rackpower 100-15RX is a premium power distribution unit that offers superior power line protection for musicians and audio professionals. In addition to exceptional quality, the RP100-15RX features several valuable features:
Surge Protection and Filtration - The Juice Goose RX Series protection circuit uses multiple components in a hybrid circuit to limit AC line surges to 10 volts between line and neutral and 0.50 volts (500 millivolts) on the ground line. Other performance features include high-frequency bi-directional filtration that reduces EMI and RFI interference and power interruption in the event of high voltage or faulty premises wiring.
Energy Meter : The dual-function meter reports the status of your energy supply and consumption in easy-to-read LED numbers. Switch between volts and amps with a convenient button on the front of the chassis. The voltage is measured with an accuracy of 0.10 VAC. Amperage is measured to the nearest 0.10 amps over a range of 0.20 A to 25.0 A.
USB Ports : One USB port is provided on the front and one on the rear of the chassis. These five-volt DC connections can be used for utility lighting or power accessories. Connect a flexible, cost-effective USB light to illuminate the front or back of the rack. Both USB ports can also be used to charge accessories, including an iPhone or iPad.
AC Power Receptacles : There is one AC power outlet located on the front. Nine are in the back. The rear outlets are rotated to accommodate wall warts and include extra generous spacing between four of them.
Power Inlet : The RP 100-15A features a seven-foot, fourteen-gauge power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug.
Tour Class (TM) Chassis : This seven-inch-deep, professional-grade cabinet is formed from a single piece of cold-rolled steel. Reinforced mounting brackets and a flush-mount top complete a package that has been used to rack-mount other products weighing over 200 pounds. The extra depth of the chassis allows easy access to the rear receptacles while mounted in a rack.
