1 cu ft Q Series 8" Cylindrical Cabinet with Undersheath
The Q408 model is a 1 cu in. volume welded steel protective enclosure. feet (.028m3).
The interior is undercoated to eliminate metallic resonance and is fitted with 1 1/2" (38 mm) thick fiberglass with a density of 1 1/2 lb/cu ft.
The large volume of this cabinet improves the system's low-frequency response while the fiberglass controls undesirable resonances at the high end of the frequency spectrum.
This cylindrical enclosure incorporates a plaster flange and has provisions for mounting a variety of architecturally pleasing AtlasIED grilles.
The cabinet is designed for use with standard 8" (203 mm) speakers.
