The POW2 is an optional power amplifier kit that can be installed inside the enclosure of the R2 and M2 multi-zone digital audio matrix. In its standard configuration, the R2 or M2 is equipped with 8 line-level output channels to which appropriate amplifiers can be connected, depending on the power required for the specific application.

For certain applications where large power capabilities are not required, the optional power amplifier kit can be installed, resulting in a multifunctional array and power amplifier merged into a single housing.

The POW2 consists of a 16-channel (8 stereo channels) Class D amplifier, delivering 60 watts of power to each channel at 4 ohms. In bridge mode, an output power of 8 x 120 watts at 8 ohms can be achieved. It features advanced protection circuitry that guards against DC malfunctions, short circuits, overheating, and overload, while a large heat sink and speed-controlled ventilation fan ensure that a suitable operating temperature is continuously maintained.
