MPS1620P-STUDIO MONITOR
The MPS 1620P studio monitor features a 6.5" long-stroke driver and a 1" low-compression dome tweeter to provide impressive sonic impact for high-resolution "sound" productions.
Dual-channel power amplifiers control the bass, midrange, and treble sections with great precision and complete control of signal dynamics.
The MPS1620P can operate as a sealed or ported speaker thanks to the removable “port plug system” on the back of the speaker.
When operating with a subwoofer, choosing the sealed enclosure configuration and the crossover set to “normal” will provide the classic M&K Sound sub/sat crossover setup, while when using the MPS1620P as a stand-alone monitor, the ported configuration with the crossover set to “full range” will extend the bass response and provide accurate “wideband” response for nearfield monitor applications.
