The Architect "P" Series excellently complements AudioControl's popular Architect series of high-power multi-zone amplifiers, delivering 100 watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms, all channels driven.
The compact 2U chassis offers 12 channels of high-power amplification, and the Architect P2280 EQ delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms, all channels driven. Channel bridging increases power to a remarkable 400 watts into 8 ohms. Benefitting from 35 years of AudioControl’s patented cool-running amplifier design, the Architect P2280 EQ is equipped with features such as input bus, output pass-through, global 12VDC trigger input/output with local 12VDC trigger inputs for all zones, and input signal sensing on/off. The A-bus includes a coaxial S/PDIF input for a digital source. Amplifier channels and connected speakers are protected by AudioControl’s fast-acting LightDrive anti-clipping circuitry. AudioControl's legendary EQ controls are easily accessible from the front panel and can be covered with an included magnetic security panel once the system is set up.
