Paging Server (PZA)
VoIP Paging Server V3
AtlasIED IPS-VPS is a VoIP paging server ideal for creating a group paging solution via multicast transmission for any combination of registered SIP endpoints and an analog airborne system in an environment where paging servers or VoIP communications managers may not support paging groups, or where third-party notification requests are not required.
The AtlasIED IPS-VPS VoIP location server connects directly to a SIP server or VoIP communications manager via a single SIP phone line or extension and uses DTMF control to select zone groups. When a caller dials a pager number, the IPS-VPS provides a one-way voice path to compatible IP phones, SIP devices, and/or its designated analog output to receive pagers, all while leveraging the WAN/LAN network architecture.
Ideal for corporate applications, educational institutions, entertainment complexes, industrial facilities, government buildings, healthcare facilities, places of worship, transportation hubs; Anywhere there is a need for critical alerts/public addressing and a single, enterprise-class communications platform is preferred.
The paging mechanism supports audio distribution via IP multicast, replicated unicast, and a combination of both (using multicast whenever possible and unicast for specific phones that cannot be reached via multicast).
