THX Ultra2 In-Wall Speaker Installation Kit The IK-802-W installation kit offers increased mounting flexibility for our THX® Ultra2 in-wall speakers and RW-5802 in-wall subwoofer.
This revolutionary kit design incorporates a color-coded mud ring for easy size identification, a detachable wire tie, and multi-position snap-fit wings. The metal wings attach easily to studs using screws, staples, or nails.
Ribbed for rigidity, these wings allow a kit to easily expand up to 24 inches. Painted white for easy marking and placement, these metal wings will bend around the edge of the studs if needed. *This kit is NOT plenum rated.
