When inserted into a media slot, the module is instantly installed, uncovered, and ready to operate without any additional internal wiring or complex configuration. The FMP40 features 50 programmable triggers (timer and/or contact) that can be used to activate messages from music/voice files stored on various types of media. Media playback from USB storage devices is possible when inserted into the control device, while an internal Micro SD card slot securely locks the media inside for applications where frequent media changes are not required.
Media playback supports MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, OGG, and AAC file types with numerous supported bit rates. Each of the 15 contacts can be individually configured, offering a choice of triggered media file and normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contact operation. Playback mode can be selected between pulse triggering (playing the entire track) or stop on release. Event triggering allows for triggering at predefined times.
