Dante 64x64 Audio DSP Aggregator
Aurora's DTX-6464D is a fully digital, Dante-enabled audio DSP aggregator. This fully networked family of professional audio products is the ideal complement to Aurora's IPX and VPX video-over-IP solutions for the houses of worship, bars and restaurants, conferences, and education markets. The DTX product ecosystem is specifically designed to deliver flawless audio across the entire network while significantly reducing the number of traditional devices and cabling costs.
DTX products utilize the industry-leading ADI 450Mhz SHARC 21489 chip and deliver excellent 24-bit/48kHz audio quality.
The DTX-6464D is a high-density aggregator featuring 64x64 Dante I/O. It is perfect for large centralized applications with multiple rooms or zones. In large distributed systems that include analog I/O, significant benefits can be achieved by using an aggregator versus a centralized DSP. This topology allows the DSP processing load to be distributed to smaller DSPs, saving costs and adding survivability. The audio quality of the analog I/O also benefits from having the DSP connections close to the endpoints, which eliminates long analog runs and therefore reduces hum and ground loops.
