High-end 2-way 8" ceiling speaker
The CELO8 is the largest 8” model in this series. Due to their slim grille design with a very thin edge of just 1 mm and a limited grille depth that protrudes from the ceiling surface by only 3.2 mm, these speakers will become almost invisible when mounted. To blend in even further, the grille can be painted the same color as the surrounding surface or an optional black grille (GLC08/B) will provide seamless integration into dark environments.
This sleek, understated grille is held in place by powerful neodymium magnets, making assembly and disassembly very simple, yet reliable enough to keep the grille in place for the speaker's lifetime. When the grille is removed, it's clear to anyone that CELO speakers are made from the highest quality materials, ensuring an unsurpassed sound experience.
A 1” aluminum cone tweeter is held in place by an acoustically optimized boom in front of an 8” aluminum cone woofer. Together with the crossover network made of high-quality components, this results in natural sound reproduction for a warm and detailed sound with an RMS power of 80 watts.
To ensure lifetime stability, secure mounting, and easy installation, the speaker is connected using gold-plated spring-clamp connectors. The speaker is mounted in the ceiling using a quick-release mechanism that can be tightened with four screws, while the front grille is held in place with magnets.
