The pioneering, first-of-its-kind Bijou 600 leverages AudioControl’s renowned expertise in developing high-performance amplifiers to integrate preamp control and bass management capabilities, plus an audiophile-grade Wolfson digital-to-analog converter, into a compact, 1U, half-rack-mountable chassis designed to serve secondary zones from afar or sit right in the middle of the action.
The AudioControl Bijou 600 delivers spectacular audio quality to enhance performance in any localized audio zone. Improve the sound of analog or digital TV audio, including gaming, by adding the Bijou 600 to external speakers. Enhance streamed music sources like SONOS, HEOS, and others by transferring their digital signals for ultra-precise decoding using the built-in Wolfson DAC and amplification via the Bijou 600’s 100 watts at 8 ohms or 200 watts at 4 ohms. With a stable low impedance of up to 3.6 ohms, the Bijou 600 can also be bridged for use as a 400-watt monoblock.
The Bijou 600’s variable volume can be controlled directly or remotely via IR or RS-232, as can source selection between the dual coaxial and TOSLINK digital inputs or the analog input. AudioControl’s patented AccuBASS™ equalization combines with selectable high-pass and low-pass filters to precisely tune the speaker system’s response to the listening room. A line-level mono subwoofer output provides added flexibility for remote zone systems. Small in size (8.5 x 7.5 x 1.7 in), the TV mounts and rack hardware are uniquely designed to facilitate custom installation.
