Compact 18" white bass reflex cabinet
The BASO18 features a high-performance 18" woofer with an RMS power handling of 900 watts and a peak power handling of 1800 watts. The power of this speaker comes from a 4" quad-layer voice coil in combination with an oversized ferrite type magnet providing a high force factor. Combined with the low-loss suspension, this results in linear behavior with high efficiency and a very wide frequency range. The results of this highly efficient design are a sensitivity of 96 dB with a continuous sound pressure generating capability of up to 129 dB. The frequency response is between 32 Hz and 300 Hz, dropping to 30 Hz at -10 dB.
These carefully selected high-quality materials, combined with precise acoustic craftsmanship, result in an impressive combination of uncompromising power and low-frequency extension. Integrated carrying handles and the option to add an optional 35mm pole adapter enhance mobility. Connections are made via two Speakon-compatible connectors located on a recessed connection plate, allowing for direct connection.
