The APC100 is a configuration and control unit that can be used in conjunction with a wide variety of AUDAC smart devices, ranging from matrix systems and mixers to PA consoles and wall panels. It has different types of communication ports, such as TCP/IP, RS-232 and RS-485. This way, you can communicate with all the smart devices connected in your facility and establish the missing link between them. This makes life easier for installers and saves time. Complex system configurations and updates can be performed in an instant, as well as backups and duplicates. Specific files, such as voice messages and screen savers, can be loaded without needing anything more than the APC100 and a computer. An internal real-time clock enables synchronizations for time-controlled events on external devices.

The AUDAC System Manager software application allows the user to manage and control the APC100's functions along with comprehensive configuration capabilities for any connected smart devices. (via TCP/IP, RS-232, or RS-485). It can also be used as a standard gateway, receiving serial communications and converting them to TCP/IP and vice versa. This enables system integration for devices such as audio sources and power amplifiers. It doesn't require built-in networking capabilities to be implemented in your automation system.
