ACS-800 8-Channel Amplifier Failover with Speaker Line Monitoring
The 8-channel amplifier fault automatic switchover with speaker line impedance monitoring is an integrated controller that integrates amplifier fault switching with speaker line monitoring into a single 1U 19" unit. The amplifier fault automatic switchover will automatically switch to the backup amplifier once a fault occurs in any of the 8 main amplifiers. The switching time is 1 second. Speaker line impedance monitoring allows monitoring of open circuit, short circuit, and impedance fluctuation of the speaker line. The detection time for each zone is 2 seconds. Amplifier fault and speaker line fault will be reminded by the indicator displayed on the front panel, the buzzer, and the fault contact or RS485 contact to the third-party system. The amplifier fault switching and speaker line monitoring unit is designed with complete visual indication. There are 8 amplifier operating status indicators: green for normal, yellow for standby, and red for fault and distinguished from unused. There are 8 speaker lines monitoring status indicators: green for normal, yellow for standby, and red for fault and distinguished for unused. There are 8 line inputs from audio sources and 8 line outputs to main amplifiers, 8 100V inputs from main amplifiers, and 8 100V zone outputs to speakers. There is a total fault output and an RS485 output for interfacing with a third-party system. A dipswitch enables or disables monitoring. Various monitoring periods are selected via the rear-panel dipswitch. A front-panel calibration button allows initializing or calibrating each amplifier and speaker line configuration. Speaker line impedance monitoring has a 10% ripple. Expandable from 8 zones to a maximum of 192 zones. 24V DC operating system.
