VP89L MODULAR MICROPHONE (PZA)

Designed as a modular system supporting interchangeable capsules to accommodate a variety of indoor and outdoor recording scenarios, the Shure VP89L Long Shotgun Microphone offers an extremely narrow 30° acceptance angle for highly directional sound pickup. Designed as a modular system supporting interchangeable capsules to accommodate a range of indoor and outdoor recording scenarios, the Shure VP89L Largo Shotgun Microphone offers an extremely narrow 30° acceptance angle for highly directional sound pickup.

Lightweight and rugged, the VP89L provides reliable operation and low susceptibility to hum, GSM, and RF interference. The phantom-powered preamp features a switchable low-cut filter to attenuate problematic low frequencies such as rumble and a standard 3-pin XLR output for easy connectivity.

Equipped with a discrete, transformerless, Class-A preamplifier, the VP89L delivers clean, fast transient response with minimal harmonic/intermodulation distortion and no crossover distortion. Long and short cartridge cylinders are available separately to accommodate a variety of recording needs, rejection angles, and frequency responses.
