The VFS220i subwoofer system features dual 12-inch direct-radiating LF cone drivers mounted in an optimally vented enclosure. The enclosure venting utilizes cabinet resonance to improve low-frequency response while limiting driver wear.
The VFS “i” revision further incorporates the VF concept into the EAW product line. Black versions of the VFS “i” Series utilize handles from the KF and JF Series. A white installation-only version comes without handles or a pole-mount cup.
The black version of the VFS220i includes traditional portable features such as a pole-mount cup, 4-terminal NL4 parallel connectors, barrier strip inputs, and handles that accept accessory covers for permanent installation. The white, installation-only versions omit the handles and pole-mount cup, but include an NL4 connector, barrier strip inputs, and multiple mounting points. The new design leaves the enclosure sides completely smooth and attractive. Optional mounting hardware is available for preconfigured VFR and VFS system assemblies.
