The SMQ series are four-channel power amplifiers that set a new standard for affordable audio amplification in fixed and mobile audio installations. Their advanced features and availability in a variety of output power ratings (350 watts, 500 watts, 750 watts, and 1250 watts) provide tremendous flexibility for numerous applications. The WaveDynamics™ DSP processor, combined with the 2.5” LCD display, offers an unparalleled user experience with an intuitive function overview for easy setup. Acoustics can be optimized using Butterworth, Bessel, and Linkwitz-Riley filters with selectable attenuation that can be configured as low/high and band-pass, and the 7-band equalizer with adjustable frequencies and Q factor . Other functions include delay and dynamic bass boost. These settings can be customized using the amplifier’s front panel, where access can be granted at two different levels (User and Administrator) via password or USB key protection. Speaker protection is provided by an output power limiter, through which the maximum output power for each channel (in watts) can be set. Setup is simplified with speaker presets and complete system configurations that can be selected from a library and loaded using a USB flash drive. This ensures the best acoustic performance with bulletproof speaker protection. High source flexibility and compatibility are achieved through the input selection matrix combined with terminal block and XLR signal connections. Outputs are via speaker and terminal block connections. System integration is simplified via the RS-232 control port. An optional Dante™ interface is available for WaveDynamics™ amplifiers.

Installing this network interface allows you to receive and send high-quality, low-latency audio over a standard Ethernet network.

Shift and Thrust Control™

This extremely efficient way of controlling your user interface is incorporated into AUDAC wall panels, WaveDynamics™ amplifiers, audio players and MTX matrix switchers. It allows an easy and logical way to control volume and more advanced settings such as equalizer and source selection. The Scroll-Push™ button also provides a design advantage on the front of the device by replacing a large selection of buttons.
