The QX300 Series' redesigned design delivers excellent performance and renowned wideband pattern control similar to the three-way QX500 Series, but in a new compact two-way format. Its large 4-inch voice-coil high-frequency compression driver provides excellent midrange coverage. Its high output makes it suitable for midranges in arenas and stadiums or high-energy applications such as live music venues or dance clubs. Its wideband pattern control allows it to handle harsh acoustic environments such as cathedrals or highly reverberant public spaces. And its exceptional fidelity pleases even the most discerning listeners in concert halls and performing arts centers.
The QX394 features a unique, ultra-efficient high-compression driver with a 90° x 45° constant directivity horn (one of six available horn patterns, ranging from 60° x 45° to 120° x 60°). 10-inch Four Phase Aligned™ low-frequency transducers arranged in vertical and horizontal pairs leverage beneficial spacing interaction to expand pattern control.
Because the four low-frequency transducers surround the high-compression driver symmetrically in both the horizontal and vertical planes, the response across the entire frequency spectrum appears to originate from a single point in space.
Users can select between single-amplifier and dual-amplifier operating modes. Additionally, each woofer pair is routed to the input board independently to allow independent, series, or parallel wiring. Combined, these features offer tremendous installation flexibility.
