EVO3 Ascension (2.0m)
This unique design consists of deep cryogenically plated Ohno continuous cast copper conductors, wrapped in an air dielectric, with partial FEP contact, before an extruded FEP sleeve seals the construction. Each of these individual driver assemblies is wrapped in Mylar with an additional OFC shield before giving it a slight twist with FEP air tubes. Ascension reduces background noise to an inky black level, opens up the soundstage with holographic imagery, air and space, and unparalleled microdynamics. Awesome. CONSTRUCTION: Drivers are in a parallel configuration with a slight twist twist. This established technique remains the first line of defense against RFI and EMI rejection. A) Conductors: 4.0mm2 silver plated Ohno continuous cast copper conductors offer a much higher level of purity compared to traditional OFC. Each conductor receives deep cryogenic treatment down to -196°C. The geometry and metallurgy used in this cable offer excellent performance with extremely impressive electrical conductivity. B) Dielectric: To achieve a dielectric constancy near vacuum, IsoTek has created a virtual air dielectric that offers only 1.0548 dielectric constancy. This air barrier is achieved by minimal conductor contact and the use of an FEP (Teflon) jumper. FEP is an excellent dielectric in its own right, with a low coefficient, and the first choice for safety in both temperature and electrical insulation.PZA More Features
