BOREA-BR08 SPEAKER (PZA)
The BR08 floorstanding speaker, inspired by the iconic Antal speaker, has been the benchmark for the entire Borea range. An elegant three-way floorstanding speaker with four transducers, it is one of the most highly regarded hi-fi models.
It incorporates a new 25 mm (1") EFS silk dome tweeter, a new 160 mm (6¼") midrange with a completely new profile, based on research into the natural cellulose paper previously used in the Esprit Ez series; and two new 160 mm (6¼") fiberglass bass drivers.
Its three-way configuration diffuses all frequencies without interference between the transducers, producing voices and instruments with precision.
This floor-standing speaker is perfectly suited for rooms measuring 20 to 40 m².
EFS TWEETER: BROADCAST THROUGHOUT THE ROOM
The tweeter in the Borea range is equipped with a new generation system called EFS (Efficient Flow System).
It is based on the combination of a 25 mm silk dome, known for its neutrality, with a phase plug specifically developed to homogenize high-frequency diffusion. This system significantly reduces directivity regardless of its location in the room.
The dome is placed within the partial horn area, reducing reflections and allowing for clear high-frequency reproduction. This transducer is powered by a neodymium magnet motor that generates high magnetic power in a compact size. It is coupled with a cooling system, ensuring improved power handling.
MIDRANGE IN NATURAL CELLULOSE: A UNIQUE TONE
The Borea range, inheriting the technological innovations of the Esprit EZ range, also features a midrange woofer with a cone made of 100% natural cellulose paper, which receives no surface treatment. This paper cone, exclusive to TRIANGLE, prevents any coloration of the intermediate frequencies and transposes voices with surprising realism and tonality.
In a continued pursuit of excellence, the cone profile has also been redesigned to improve rigidity and now provides an extended frequency response.
In the three-way floorstander, the midrange driver incorporates Triangle's well-known short-travel peripheral suspension. Extremely rigid and perfectly matched to the short-travel suspension driver, it allows perfect control of the movement of the moving elements, ensuring a natural-sounding voice.
POWERFUL, PRECISE, AND PUSHING LOW FREQUENCIES
The mission of TRIANGLE engineers is to deliver rich, dynamic sound in the low frequencies, emphasizing the rhythm without distorting the music. Controlled low frequencies are a constant pursuit. Living up to its reputation, TRIANGLE focuses on fast, precise transducers with large magnetic motors, all housed in optimized enclosures. The impact disappears as quickly as it arrived, for perfectly controlled rhythmic reproduction.
To achieve this, TRIANGLE has opted for fiberglass cones with excellent vibration resistance. Their rigidity allows each impact to be reproduced with force while leaving room for the vocal range, thus maintaining an airy sound.
