SP414UL-BK02S (PZA)
Designed for use in Atmos® or other multi-speaker surround systems as an upgrade to standard 14/2 CI cable, the SP414UL is constructed with two 14 AWG HC-OFC conductors, each designed in a multi-gauge wire configuration housed in a black UL® CL2 PVC, Siamese-type jacket. This conductor configuration improves the cable’s overall sonic performance by providing an easier path for low-frequency signals, improving bass response and sound clarity.
SP414UL is flexible and easy to terminate in the field. Standard bulk CI 14/2 is made of two stranded, 14 AWG bare copper conductors, individually insulated and then covered with a tube jacket. When terminating CI cable, the outer jacket is cut and the inner insulators must then be stripped, creating more work and leaving the end result with a rough appearance. SP414UL is much simpler to use. Simply pull the positive conductor from its negative twin in the Siamese cable and strip the ends.
The result is professional and clean with less effort. There you have it, the SP414UL simply sounds better and finishes faster with the fit and finish your customer expects from a specialized installer.
