SoundTube’s WX Weather Guard technology utilizes a dual-layer hydrophobic material within the speaker grille to keep water away from the drivers and internal electronics even in the most extreme weather conditions. The SM500I-II-WX utilizes patented ZeroReflectctionTM technology for ^optimal sound reproduction and cabinet rigidity, as well as BroadBeam technology to deliver a consistent dispersion pattern up to 10 kHz for maximum coverage area per speaker. The SM500I-II-WX features a 5.25-inch (133 mm) polypropylene woofer and a 1.0-inch (25 mm) convex titanium tweeter with ^FerroFluidTM cooling. The 86.0 dB mid-sensitivity speakers deliver high output capabilities and reduced amplification costs, and the six-position selectable tap switch for 25, 70, 7, and 100 volt applications provides easy access. The included SM500i-II-WX StealthTM bracket mounting system with vertical and horizontal pivot allows the SM500i-II-WX to be directed anywhere within the installation space, and the low-profile enclosure design keeps the speaker close to the wall.
