The RS800i features an 8-inch polypropylene woofer and a 1.0-inch convex titanium tweeter with FerroFluid cooling mounted in a cast aluminum baffle and heat sink. The two-way, ported speaker with an open-ceiling enclosure design delivers extended low-end response (58 Hz) and 105° off-axis performance (2 to 10 kHz, independently verified). The SoundTube® BroadBeam tweeter ^system delivers consistent, high-performance audio across the entire bandwidth. Patented ZeroReflection ^™ technology provides optimal sound reproduction and cabinet rigidity. An easily accessible, six-position, selectable tap switch for 25, 70, 70, and 100 volt applications with transformer tap position simplifies order tracking and inventory. The RS800i speaker design incorporates a low-profile grille, a patented motor, driver protection circuitry, and a six-position tap switch with a transformer bypass position. Hanging hardware with galvanized steel cables is included, and it features a SpeedClamp ^™ self-locking cable grip for quick, easy, and secure installation. A Euroblock connector and terminal weather boot are included.
