The ^IPD -SM500i ^-II is a Dante-enabled surface-mount speaker featuring a 5.25-inch (134 mm) polypropylene woofer and a 1.0-inch (25.4 mm) convex titanium tweeter with BroadBeam and waveguide, housed in an injection-molded, glass-fiber-reinforced ABS enclosure. Digital audio, power, and low-latency control are delivered to the speaker via standard Category 6 cable; connection is made at the other end to an STNet-Switch or other PoE/PoE switch. It can also be powered via a 24V DC sleeve connector for non-PoE installations. Speaker configuration and zoning are achieved via software. Mounting hardware for the IPD-SM500i-II is included and features SoundTube’s Stealth ^™ bracket mounting system, providing unlimited directional aim and a low profile, with a security knob to reduce tampering after installation. The system includes a removable mounting plate designed for pre-mounting in wall or pole applications.
