Patented BroadBeam ™ wave-steering technology delivers a consistent dispersion pattern for maximum intelligibility and edge-to-edge coverage. A 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer and 1.0-inch convex aluminum tweeter with FerroFluid cooling are mounted on a cast aluminum slate and heat sink. Quick-install, blind-mount, fixed-wing mounting mechanism with constant-strength design accommodates ceiling thicknesses ranging from 0.25 in (3.4 mm) to 1.69 in (42.9 mm). Easily accessible, six-position selectable latching switch for 25, 70, and 100-volt applications with a transformer tap position. Tool-free magnetic grille and bezel assembly separate with integrated safety cable for easy installation and field painting. Steel grille with protective powder-coated finish for long-lasting durability. Average sensitivity of 88 dB delivers high-rating capabilities and reduced amplification costs. UL 1480 (UEAY) and 2043 approved.
