HE TR2050 (PZA)
Stereo RCA Male - RCA Female Ground Loop Isolator
The TR2050 is a basic, two-way ground loop isolator designed to electrically isolate audio devices from each other. Hum in audio systems is typically caused by ground loops in the system. A common-mode current will flow in a ground loop created by an electrical system that has ground connections at different voltage potentials.
This results in a 50 Hz hum in the audio signal. The most common method for resolving these problems is an audio isolation transformer like the TR2050, which should always be within reach of every audio technician. When ground loop problems are encountered, they can be resolved in a snap using the TR2050.
