SD72 speaker, 62-8 baffle, CS95-8 back box and 81-8R T-bar bridge kit

AtlasIED offers the SD72W-KIT to facilitate ordering a complete solution for in-ceiling speaker applications. The kit includes products that have been selected to work perfectly together in PA and background music applications.

SD72W-KIT includes:

• SD72W 8" dual-cone ceiling speaker with 5-watt 25V/70V transformer and 62-8 baffle
• CS95-8 8" Round Recessed Stackable Cabinet
• 81-8R 8" T-bar tile bridge

The speaker used in the SD72W is the next generation of high-performance Atlas cone speakers, very similar to previous C Series speakers. The similarity in sonic qualities ensures that contractors and designers who have worked with AtlasIED C-Series in the past know exactly what to expect when using the SD72W.

The SD72W is a 25 watt, 8" (205 mm) dual-cone speaker with a 10 oz (260 g) ceramic magnet. It features a curvilinear, treated paper cone for lower harmonic distortion. The speaker is also equipped with a 1" diameter copper speaker coil with a black anodized aluminum former for improved power dissipation. The package includes a factory-installed 25/70.7V line transformer with tap selections ranging from 0.25 to 5 watts.

The SD72W model operates within a frequency response range of 45 Hz - 19 kHz (nominal) with a sensitivity of 97 dB and a dispersion angle of 105°.

The SD72W includes a factory-installed CRS baffle with hidden speaker mounting bolts and includes screw mounting hardware. The SD72W baffle features standard mounting holes to accommodate most AtlasIED 8" tile bridges, mounting rings, and cabinets.

The CS95-8 enclosure is equipped with four knockouts for 1/2" – 3/4" (13-19 mm) combination conduit, four J-clips, and two flexible perforated mounting straps. One-piece CRS construction, coated, lined with jute patches and finished with epoxy.

The 81-8R Mosaic Bridge features a round cutout designed to work with the CS95-8 cabinet. The unit is constructed of 24 gauge CRS with a rust-resistant electrogalvanized finish.

THE SD72W KIT MUST BE ORDERED IN MULTIPLES OF 12.
