Studio Boom Microphone Stands with Air Suspension System from 49 to 73 inches - Ebony

These top-of-the-line boom stands feature a variable piston-type air suspension system to ensure microphone protection. The SB-36W model is equipped with silent-rolling, ball-bearing, hard rubber casters for frictionless, vibration-absorbing mobility.

The two-piece horizontal boom assembly is constructed of 7/8" diameter cold-rolled steel with a heavy-duty die-cast gyroscopic pivot and 6 lb. adjustable counterweight for precise and secure aiming. The boom arm terminates in an adjustable swivel microphone mount with standard 5/8"-27 threads to accept all microphones, stands, and adapters.

The downtube assembly is constructed of 1 1/8" and 7/8" chromoly cold-rolled steel and includes the wear-resistant AtlasIED® grip clutch for easy adjustment and positive locking. The SB-36W model includes wheels for heights from 49" to 73". The cast metal triangular base with concentrated weight distribution at the edges provides additional stability and has an ebony epoxy finish with a chrome casing.
