SURGE AND LINE FILTRATION PROTECTION (PZA)
Rack-mounted connectivity
With RX series protection
The RX series protection has been tested and proven effective. The RX 100-20 features Juice Goose Hybrid Filter technology to enhance electronic performance and protect against power line surges and high-frequency interference on hot, neutral, and ground wires.
Features include:
- 20 amp capacity (see also RX 100-15)
- Maximum overvoltage of 10 volts between line and neutral
- Maximum overvoltage of 0.50 volts on ground
- High frequency common and normal mode noise filtering
- Overvoltage shutdown
- Protection against external wiring faults
- 8 AC outlets
- Rugged Tour Class(tm) chassis
The Juice Goose RX series' power protection technology works against ground line (common mode) surges as well as hot neutral (normal mode) surges. While common-mode surges and disturbances do not typically cause catastrophic damage, they can lead to operational failures and inadequate performance of digital processing equipment. Since a power anomaly of even 1 or 2 volts on logic ground can cause problems, the RX series is designed to pass an overvoltage of only 0.50 (half) volts on ground.
The hybrid filter also protects against more dramatic events. Connected equipment is protected from surges of up to 6000 volts at 3000 amps between hot and neutral, allowing a maximum surge of 10.0 volts to pass through.
The RX Series uses hybrid filter technology that does not contaminate the soil. Instead, he cleans it.
RX 100-20 FEATURES
The Juice Goose RX 100-15 has seven NEMA 5-20R receptacles on the rear of the chassis and one on the front. LEDs on the front of the unit indicate active power protection or external wiring fault. The Tour Class(tm) chassis consists of a one-piece construction for the main frame and reinforced mounting brackets formed from cold-rolled steel.
