The QS408 model is a welded steel protective enclosure that has a volume of 1 cu. feet (.028m3).
The interior is undercoated to eliminate metallic resonance and is fitted with 1 1/2" (38 mm) thick fiberglass with a density of 1 1/2 lb/cu ft.
The large volume of this cabinet improves the system's low-frequency response while the fiberglass controls undesirable resonances at the upper end of the frequency spectrum.
