The PROTEUS RAYZOR 1960™ is a compact yet extremely powerful IP65-rated wash effects fixture featuring Elation’s exclusive SparkLED™ system and fast, continuous pan/tilt motion. With its wide 5° to 55° zoom range, it provides intense, well-defined overhead beams at over 18,000 lumens, as well as exceptionally wide and even wash coverage, making it a perfect tool for any application, even in harsh outdoor conditions. SparkLEDs deliver a prominent and innovative LED pixel effect with dedicated high-brightness pixels within the large front lenses for additional layers of creativity.

Powered by 19 independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs, delivering over 18,000 lumens of output with a total power of 1140W, the PROTEUS RAYZOR 1960™ provides a powerful beam that stands out on any stage. The oversized front lenses create a large surface area on the fixture that is enhanced by the exclusive, patent-pending SparkLEDs technology. SparkLEDs consist of 76 individual white LEDs, strategically placed within the lens to create a unique additional layer, allowing designers access to an innovative new way to create interest on stage. Proteus Rayzor 1960 offers this never-before-seen style of internal lens lighting for depth and visual impact. SparkLEDs can be controlled by the lighting console or controlled by a multitude of internal FX patterns.

In addition to its powerful wash and enhanced effects, the PROTEUS RAYZOR 1960™ offers continuous, precise pan and tilt rotation, allowing for variable speeds from slow to extremely fast motion effects. Combining the powerful LED output with the SparkLEDs while utilizing 360° movement allows the designer to create endless, unique, and compelling designs, from mid-air beams or sweeping stage washes to subtle mood or TV camera lens effects.
