The new EX15 introduces a new three-way design to the successful EX speaker range. By incorporating a single 15" coaxial transducer with a 1.75" titanium nitride compression driver, while many coaxial speakers struggle to achieve full frequency coverage, the EX15's coaxial speaker is tasked with transmitting only high and low frequencies. This leaves the all-important midrange to the horn-coupled 6" neodymium speaker, allowing the 15" to transmit deep, accurate bass, which is what it excels at, rather than trying to also reproduce a compromised midrange over its natural frequency range for better speed and dynamic musical performance. The EX15's unique approach, featuring 1000W of dedicated tri-amplified electronics, delivers a completely natural, full-range sound from a compact yet powerful package that surpasses many speakers twice its size.
