The IPCSD4 digital microphone station is a 4-button device for initiating audio/visual announcements, messages, and pagers with GLOBALCOM® .IP announcement control systems. ^IP108 -D or IP116-D. The IPCSD4 uses a single Ethernet interface for audio and control data. The IPCSD4 is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard for Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing the microphone station to be powered directly from any standard PoE switch available on the market.

The IPCSD4 uses Dante technology ^® to transport high-quality, low-latency digital audio over Ethernet. The IPCSD4 microphone station can be used for emergency evacuation and life safety systems. In a dual-use system, however, these microphone stations can be used for everyday paging functions.

It is compatible with ACS controllers ^™ IP108-D or IP116-D with Dante™ capability.
