Vandal-resistant speaker. (PZA)
Vandal-resistant and weather-resistant PoE+ IP speaker for wall mounting
The AtlasIED IPX Series IP-HVP is a vandal-proof, weather-resistant wall-mount IP speaker. Leverage VoIP communication to extend telepresence with enhanced audio for environments where network-wide communication is desired and high-performance speakers are required to overcome high ambient noise and/or large spaces. The speaker grilles are vandal and weather resistant. Made of cast aluminum alloy, the grills provide safety and durability in indoor and outdoor applications.
AtlasIED IP-HVP registers as a communication endpoint directly within the InformaCast, GCK, and Revolution advanced notification applications, supporting audio streaming to enhance physical security while simultaneously improving daily communications through advanced alerts, bell schedules, and pre-recorded and scheduled announcements, all while leveraging the WAN/LAN network architecture.
When used within a Cisco environment, IP-HVP speakers can join Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) as a supported device. Cisco SRST provides call processing redundancy at remote locations when access to the centralized Cisco Unified Communications Manager is interrupted due to a WAN outage. The ability for LAN communication between any combination of phones and speakers is particularly critical during an emergency (which may be the actual cause of the WAN outage).
When third-party notification applications are not required, the vandal-proof, weather-resistant, wall-mountable IP-HVP can register as a SIP device directly to a SIP server or VoIP communications manager for critical alerting and paging applications.
Ideal for corporate applications, educational institutions, entertainment complexes, industrial facilities, government buildings, healthcare facilities, places of worship, transportation hubs—anywhere where critical public alerting/footage needs exist and you prefer to use a single, enterprise-class communications platform.
Characteristics
The IP-HVP indoor/outdoor models are equipped with a highly efficient 15-watt compression driver/speaker with a proven track record of excellent service reliability. A dual-reentry design provides superior sound level output and clear audibility of voice and tone alert notification and paging.
The speaker grilles are vandal and weather resistant. Made of cast aluminum alloy, they provide safety and durability in indoor and outdoor applications.
All AtlasIED IP loudspeakers consist of a factory-assembled speaker, grille, and control/amplifier PCB that are securely mounted to the rear of the grille.
The IP-HVP features automatic registration. This is an easy and time-saving way to configure our IP speakers on your voice VLAN, similar to a VoIP phone. By being connected to the same VLAN, both VoIP phones and IP speakers share the same Quality of Service (QoS) so communications are always secure and guaranteed.
