Indoor wall-mounted PoE+ LCD terminal with talkback microphone and LED flashing
AtlasIED IP-DMF is an indoor wall-mount IP terminal with LCD display, integrated talkback microphone and LED flashing. Complements investments in Unified Communications (VoIP), including hosted and on-premises infrastructure platforms. With IP-DMF, information can be delivered to people or spaces beyond the limitations of desktop phone communication, where visual messaging is required to overcome high ambient noise and/or large spaces.
AtlasIED IP-DMF registers as a communication endpoint directly within Singlewire, AtlasIED, and Syn-Apps notification applications. Supports scrolling audio and/or text alerts and visual signaling to enhance physical security while improving daily communications through advanced alerts, bell schedules, and pre-recorded and scheduled announcements while leveraging WAN or LAN network architecture.
The IP-DMF contains a PoE+ powered amplifier that can support up to two 8 Ω analog speakers that will allow the IP-DMF to support announcements or intercoms.
AtlasIED IP-DMF supports failover of call processing from the Call Manager publisher's subscriber SIP service. This service provides call processing redundancy at a remote location when access to the centralized call manager is interrupted due to a WAN outage. In a Cisco UMC environment, IPX devices can register with Cisco Basic or Advanced third-party SIP Device Service for intercom or paging functionality. IPX must use Cisco's third-party Advanced SIP Device Service when registering in a publisher subscriber configuration.
When third-party notification applications are not required, the IP-DMF can register as a SIP device directly to a SIP server or VoIP calling platform for critical alerts, intercom, and paging.
Under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), all state and local governments must take steps to ensure effective communication with people with disabilities. The AtlasIED IP-DMF visual IP terminal with optional speakerphone connectivity, LCD display, talkback microphone and LED flashing light provides effective communication for all users.
Ideal for corporate applications, educational institutions, entertainment complexes, industrial facilities, government buildings, healthcare facilities, places of worship, transportation hubs—anywhere where critical public alerting/footage needs exist and you prefer to use a single, enterprise-class communications platform.
Characteristics
IP-DMF IP terminal screens are made of 18 gauge metal providing security and durability in commercial applications. The deflector is finished with a neutral white electrostatic powder coat and comes with all necessary mounting screws.
While in standby, the IP-DMF displays the time and date and eliminates the need for a separate master clock system by using the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to stay up-to-date. When active, the IP-DMF display occasionally switches to visual notifications by scrolling text content on the high-resolution LCD screen.
When using Singlewire's InformaCast® or Syn-Apps Revolution® notification applications, the IP-DMF can synchronize the LCD background colors with the InformaCast® text and audio notification profiles. Customers can now display preset color styles for normal, warning, and emergency notifications, providing clear communication during any event.
LED flashers located below the screen can be used to alert room occupants of an incoming text message in accordance with ADA compliance.
The IP-DMF has automatic registration. This is an easy and time-saving way to configure our IP speakers on your voice VLAN, similar to a VoIP phone. By being connected to the same VLAN, both VoIP phones and IP speakers share the same Quality of Service (QoS) so communications are always secure and guaranteed.
The IP-DMF includes two general purpose inputs (GPI) and one output (relay) to unify third-party system connectivity.
The IP-DMF has local line-level inputs that can be used for local sound reinforcement and outputs that can be used to send audio messages to existing audio systems. The host application is configured as the priority source by default to ensure that critical alerts remain the priority regardless of which currently active source is selected.
