Horn speaker (PZA)
PoE+ weatherproof constant directivity IP speaker with rotating bell and wall/pole mount
AtlasIED IP-APX is a high-performance, constant directivity, weatherproof IP horn with a rotating bell and wall/pole mount. It complements investments in Unified Communications (VoIP Communications), including hosted and on-premises infrastructure platforms, so announcements can be delivered to people and spaces beyond the world of desktop phone communication, breaking down any traditional audio path barriers.
The AtlasIED IP-APX IP terminal features a constant 60℃ x 40℃ dispersion pattern in the controlled frequency band of 1.25-10 kHz. The rotating hood rotates in precise 15℃ increments for exact positioning at the projection angles site. A triple-lock safety mounting method saves installation time and provides long-term stability.
AtlasIED IP-APX registers as a communication endpoint directly within Singlewire®, AtlasIED®, Syn-Apps®, and Intrado® notification applications, and supports audio streaming to enhance physical security while improving daily communications through advanced alerts, bell schedules, and pre-recorded and scheduled announcements, while leveraging Wide Area Network (WAN) or Local Area Network (LAN) architecture.
AtlasIED IP-APX supports failover of call processing from the Call Manager publisher's subscriber SIP service. This service provides call processing redundancy at a remote location when access to the centralized call manager is interrupted due to a WAN outage. In the Cisco® UMC environment, IPX endpoints can register with Cisco Basic or Advanced third-party SIP Device Service for paging functionality.
IPX must use Cisco's Advanced Third-Party SIP Device Service when registering in a publisher subscriber configuration. The IP-APX endpoint can register as a SIP device directly to a SIP server or VoIP communications manager for critical alerting and public address applications.
