The AtlasIED “HPA” series of high-power amplifiers has been designed to be versatile for use in both commercial 70V distributed systems and professional applications requiring amplifiers to drive 4 and 8 ohm loads. The HPA is compact and lightweight compared to other models offering similar power levels. The HPA Series features a Class I Generation II output topology that delivers efficiency close to that of a Class D amplifier with the sound quality of a Class AB amplifier. The power supply features a Gen 3 design with global auto-sensing in switched mode that maintains stable output during fluctuating power conditions. The power supply and output stage together are designed to deliver exceptional dynamic output voltage and current to virtually any speaker load.

The HPA Series features front-panel retained level controls with a safety cover, remote power-on, balanced inputs, fault reporting, and an accessory card slot for an optional 2- or 4-channel Dante™ digital audio interface. Cooling is not an issue due to the output stage's unique low-resistance direct-couple thermal transfer design. HPA is also energy efficient and meets Energy Star standards, consuming only 1W of power in standby mode.
