The AtlasIED “HPA” series high-power amplifier is designed for use in commercial 25V/70V/100V distributed systems or low-impedance 8 or 4 ohm applications requiring amplifiers to drive multiple impedance loads. The HPA2408 is compact and lightweight compared to other models offering similar performance. The HPA2408 features a Generation II Class D output topology that provides high-efficiency amplification with the sound quality of a Class AB amplifier. The power supply is designed for global use and features a wide-range voltage power supply with power factor correction and remains stable during fluctuating power conditions. The combination

The HPA Series features stepped, front-panel level controls with safety covers, remote power-on, balanced line inputs with sensitivity settings, fault reporting, and accessory card slots for an optional eight-channel Dante™ digital audio interface. Cooling is not an issue due to the output stage's unique low-resistance direct-couple thermal transfer design. HPA is also energy efficient and meets Energy Star 1W standby standards.
