Construction ring (PZA)
New FAP40T construction ring and 4-inch Strategy series
The Strategy Series FA-TR4 Trim Ring/Recessed Bracket, for wall or ceiling mount applications, is installed prior to the drywall and serves as a cutting pattern for the drywall contractor to finish the wall leaving the proper opening for an FA97-4 or FA95-4 box.
This step identifies the pre-wiring location, speeding up sound system installation. The trim ring is 25 5/8" long and fits 3/8" to 1 1/4" drywall. Mounting holes are provided to match 16" and 24" center studs. FA-TR4 is constructed of 20 gauge galvanized steel. NOTE :
The trim ring alone will not allow direct installation of Strategy Series grilles. A FAPR cabinet or plaster ring is required for grille installation.
