Ceiling Mount Cabinet (PZA)
The CR212P-NR Ceiling Mounted Equipment Rack allows for convenient, out-of-sight electronic equipment installation in the ceiling plenum. The CR series provides a space-saving solution that is aesthetically discreet and integrates with common false ceiling tile designs. They allow the equipment to be securely mounted on the ceiling in a sealed, UL plenum-rated enclosure with an easily accessible door. The door assembly has an open frame design so the installer can place a ceiling tile in the frame and better conceal the entire ceiling support. The roof panel cutout is held securely in place by retaining tabs, securing it to the frame. To open the door, two retaining screws can be removed and the door has safety cables attached to protect against injury.
The CR212P-NR provides 2RU with a 9.25" half-width to accommodate compact half-rack equipment. The enclosure measures 1' x 2' to fit in half the space of a standard ceiling panel grid. A rack rail kit is optional and can be purchased to accommodate rack-mountable electronic equipment. The optional CR212RR rack rail provides two rack units (2RU).
