The ASP-MG24 takes sound masking control to a whole new level while providing the secondary benefit of speaker processing for the most popular AtlasIED speaker systems.
The ASP-MG24 is a 1RU, 2-input DSP with 4 masking generators x 4 outputs configurable via a very intuitive configuration GUI. Four inputs are connected to independent white/pink noise generators with adjustable ramp-up, allowing occupant acclimatization in the event of a power loss to the system. Two additional inputs are available for microphone or line sources to allow PA and/or music sources to be combined with masking sources on any of the 4 outputs.
Dedicated 1/3 octave filter sets are available for each of the generator's 4 outputs, and 8-band parametric EQ blocks along with dynamics control are available for each of the two mic/line inputs. Any combination of the 6 inputs can be easily assigned to the 4 output DSP blocks for additional parametric EQ, delay and limiting (if needed).
Considering all the features, a very complex 4-zone sound masking system can be easily set up with 2 external music or search sources. For speaker control functionality, the ASP-MG24 can be configured in 2 input x 4 output mode for full range stereo. Other configurations include full-range plus secondary operation with AtlasIED FAP ceiling speakers, SM Series surface-mount speakers, or AH Series stadium speakers for complete control of crossover types, EQ, delay, and dynamics control.
Computer interface is simplified via USB and RS-232 connectivity (no cumbersome USB-to-serial adapter required!). UL Listed external international voltage power supply included.
