The AP-S15IP is a power conditioner with LAN monitoring and remote control for managing AC power distribution. The AP-S15IP features a web-based user interface (UI) that can monitor voltage, current, temperature, and humidity. Through the user interface, alarms can be configured to alert users when a fault condition occurs via the network user interface or fault contacts. The AP-S15IP's eight rear outputs are programmable and can be scheduled to sequence on/off individually or in groups on a 24/7 schedule. Each AC outlet has an LED status indicator on the front panel that can also be used to manually turn the outlet on or off. This feature can be disabled through the user interface for added security. An unswitched AC outlet is also included on the front panel.

The AP-S15IP uses PC-based IP discovery software to automatically identify units connected to the network. An LED display, AtlasIED model AP-LEDIP, is included to provide a visual reference of voltage, current, temperature or humidity data inside the rack in real time. The AP-LEDIP can also be used to read the IP address of the unit, eliminating the need to use discovery software. The external temperature/humidity probe can be used to monitor the rack's climate conditions to activate a cooling system if necessary. Programmable alarm settings are easily configured with fault logs and fault reporting via the user interface. The unit or individual outlets can be tested or monitored in an active state via the network's automatic ping reset feature.

The AP-S15IP features noise filtering for unwanted radio frequency interference (RFI) commonly introduced into AC lines by nearby radio transmitters or wireless products, which commonly impairs video signals and can be heard as static on audio signals. The AP-S15IP is designed to allow the installer to select the length of power cable required for the installation. A detachable 2m IEC power cable with a retaining bracket is supplied with the unit.

The AP-S15IP is designed to be mounted in full-width racks using a 19" (1RU) space.
