The aluminum grilles on these speakers are specially treated to be weather-resistant; however, for locations where corrosion is more likely to occur, such as near the beach, we suggest applying Clear Coat (spray paint only, not brush-on) to the grilles to help prevent the damage that can occur near the ocean.
