Developed by Shure with Rycote, the A89LW-KIT windscreen is the optimal choice for broadcast and media professionals when maximum isolation from wind and microphone handling noise is required. It can be used with the VP89L shotgun condenser microphone. This kit includes a suspension system, windscreen, and windshield.

The suspension system provides up to 25 dB of isolation from handling and cable noise by securing the microphone in a cradle-like position using Lyre suspension trusses.

A windscreen capsule completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding into the suspension system. A high-quality synthetic fur windscreen is designed to fit perfectly over the windscreen and features a cord lock with a stopper for maximum security. The windscreen and fur attenuate up to 38 dB of wind noise.
