1/3 octave graphic equalizer
The EQM131 will provide basic system equalization for sound masking or general PA applications at an incredibly affordable price.
The 1RU-tall EQM131 easily connects to any system via balanced TRS and XLR connectors on the rear panel. Unbalanced RCA connections are also provided for use with -10 dBV equipment. Front-panel mounted Level and LPF/HPF controls are provided, along with a switch for +/-6 or +/-12 dB operation and 31 heavy-duty 20 mm filter sliders.
The ISO-centered 1/3-octave bandwidth constant Q filter design minimizes filter interaction yet remains wide enough for creating correction curves.
When used with the AtlasIED AA120M mixer amplifier and AA-SMG sound masking module, the EQM131 can be used to create a 1/3 octave masking spectrum that is fed directly into the AA120M amplifier section. PA or music inputs can receive high-frequency shelving equalization for improved intelligibility from the AA120M’s front-panel controls. The page/music inputs and the masking module output can be summed without affecting the masking source spectrum equalized by the EQM131.
