Volume control with 24V relay
The 24V relay range volume controls are volume attenuators for speaker volume, they will override music through the voice alarm system in case of emergency, wherever PA speaker volume control and background music are needed.
Characteristics
- The PA system uses 24V relay volume control.
- Background music system with voice alarm uses a 24V relay dimmer.
- The volume controller is used to adjust the speaker output in the room.
- The volume controller is used to maintain the same output level for a single speaker line. Because the signal loss of a speaker line is quite large, their outputs are lower. Therefore, a volume controller is added at the front of the line to reduce the speaker output. This is to maintain a similar ambient output level for all speakers in the same line.
- The 24V Relay Volume Controller works by: The relay from the amplifier or PA system will be input to this volume controller to override the output level to maximum when there is a fire alarm or other emergency situation. In this way, some conference rooms will be even lower. The volume or off-level during the meeting could even hear the evacuation message during an emergency.
