704 S3 (PZA)
Despite being the thinnest floorstanding speaker currently manufactured by Bowers & Wilkins, the 704 S3 still packs an impressive punch. Its two Aerofoil-shaped woofers ensure generous extension and scale, while its decoupled transducer with Continuum cone and FST technology guarantees crystal-clear midrange reproduction.
A home for high frequencies
Carbon Dome tweeters have been developed specifically for the 700 Series. Providing a dramatic improvement over the standard aluminum double dome tweeter, they raise the breakup threshold to 47 kHz for an extremely precise and detailed soundstage.
Truly amazing sound
Thanks to its composite structure, the Continuum cone avoids the abrupt transitions in behavior that can impair the performance of a conventional transducer. The result is a more open and neutral sound quality that allows vocals and instruments to be reproduced with precision and transparency.
Clean and clear
Each of the 700 Series three-way models features a dedicated midrange driver utilizing four key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, FST, Biomimetic Suspension, and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference with the speaker's woofer performance.

A triumph of science
Developed using advanced computer modeling techniques, the Aerofoil profile bass cone has a variable thickness that provides stiffness and rigidity where they're most needed. The result: deep, dynamic bass.
